It's been about five months since I've written anything on this site...
I apologise for the silence, and will not list here all the excuses I
might have (you can only imagine...) :) Still trying to figure out the
right way to keep in conctact with all You Lovely People. I might keep
on writing on Rabbithole or I might come up with something new now - in
the new situation in my life.
But anyhow, if for some reason some of you might check on this blog on
one day, I just want to tell you that I'm happy and well, enjoying life
and the coming winter!

HYVÄÄ JUHANNUSTA! / Happy Midsummer Night Party!
At the time of the great Finnish midsummer night festival I'll be in
Bangkok. I won't even try to get into the 'juhannus' mood but instead
try to enjoy Thai experiences for a couple of days; some palace
spotting, Thai massage perhaps and culinary stuff. No room in luggage -
no shopping unfortunately.

Great party Saturday - but also sad and emotional farewells...
Thank you my friends, for coming to say goodbye. I had a fantastic party night and I think most of you did too!

Enjoying my last days in Melbourne
Dear readers,
something in English for a change...
During the hectic last weeks we've been packing our stuff, sending first boxes then Juha then Juha's iMac to Finland, organising a farewell party, having goodbye drinks and long lunches with uni mates, submitting last group reports and other assignments, cleaning up the cupboards and the corners of the flat for the soon coming inspection, organising a garage sale...
At the same time in addition to trying to keep my sanity, I've decided that no matter what I have to be able to enjoy the last (albeit wintery) days here in Melbourne. So for example yesterday, I allowed myself a nice cup of latte and a blueberry/white chocolate muffin in a St Kilda café (served with butter in the Aussie way, of course, oh my God, see picture).
