Yes, I am a student now! After a little bit of academic and international orientation, the lectures and tutorials are now working on full speed, and the fourth week is starting soon. My daily program has now changed from the duties of a housewife and beach volley into something else. Here's briefly about student life of mine!

Since I'm studying postgraduate, and many of postgrad students are working the daytime, all the lectures are in the evening. Which as an evening person suits me fine. Although sometimes on a Friday night, while sitting in the Accounting class from 6-9pm, I wonder if this really is the time to try to learn anything... Fortunately Tuesdays are free!

My four subjects on this semester are:
  • Special Events Management
  • Strategic Management and Business Policy
  • Economic Impact of Events
  • Accounting for Events
Sounds interesting, doesn't it? :) A lot of group work, assignments, reports and exams. Fortunately the due dates are mostly after the two-week Easter break. There is litterally a pile of books on the bedroom floor waiting to be read...

Fellow students taking the same classes are nice, both international and Australian. It's been good to meet some students who have already done semester or two. Some of them follow the same schedule, some people studying part-time are only taking 1-2 subjects per semester.

City Flinders Street campus is very modern and nice, located opposite to the Flinders Street train station. We have a good library system and all the services in the same block, although some subjects are on Queen street a few blocks away. One thing that I'm missing is the gym. In the Vic Uni main campus in Footscray  there are awesome possibilities for sports, huge gyms and a swimming pool. Well, I decided to join the Fitness First gym, so training should not be a problem.
